Flywheel cone

Any tips on removing a flywheel cones from the crank? Also I have a WS7II on the way, do I need to put an shims between the front bearing and flywheel cone?

Use a screw driver in the gap on the cone and it should slide off and you shouldnt need to use shims behind the brass cone
