It isn't supposed to go to the main gear. It's supposed to bump against the fly wheel atached to the engine.

thing is the flywheel is too high inside the chasis for the starter wheel to rub against it.

i have the eb4-s2 pro rtr kit. is it posible that i need a bigger flywheel?
getting on my nerves now, i just wanna use my new starter box! sob[]

If you have the TT engine with pull start you carnt use a starter box without removing the pull start and using smaller engine mounts......and as for getting a bigger flywheel it would hit the centre diff case.

Hope that answers your questions

Well i could get the wheel up on my Hyper 7 Pro but it was kinda hard to match it up. I filed the hole open about 5 mm on each side and angled it out on each side so the wheel fits in their with no problem. Ask if you want pics... ill be glad to help you

As some one already said you need the non-rtr engine mounts. The rtr engine mounts raise the engine so the pull-start will fit. Get some fancy red anodized ones off of ebay. Or maybe the flywheel on the pullstart motor is smaller?
