Ok, I have a set of recommended upgrades for my hyper 7 sport which I am definatley going to get in due time but with regards to the quad brake system I have seen a CNC 7075 brake disc but this is £20! would I have to buy 4 of these??!! Also when you buy the quad brake conversion does it come with the normal brakes?
Cheers!

Quad conversion comes with all the parts needed to get you up to Pro spec brakes. But the CNC disks are smaller in diameter and you'd need to buy 2 packs for a quad setup (they come in pairs, disks only). If you dont get the upgrade kit then you need to get loads of bit you dont need as the parts only come in set packs. But heres a pic for ya to drool over. Also notice the ball link hop up on the rods.

the quad brake conversion comes with normal disc`s,the 7075 cnc disc`s as far as I Know are 4 disc`s 8 pads, code no H87345. There is also a plate that fits under the disc`s that is differant between two and four plate brake`s, which you should get with the conversion.
I`m runing quad brake`s with cnc disc`s and abs once setup there`s no fade and they stop my hyper on the dot!

Nice hyper, good and dirty makes it look like you drive it, although saying that I just spent a while cleaning mine so now mine looks like a bit of a shelf queen, gotta find some mucky stuff and some fuel and a new servo ..... etc.
What you got on the brakes there can see your KO on the steering but not the brakes. Love all the purple aluminium but why no purple radio tray and diff plate? and are those purple fuel pipe clips i see in the background, i'd love it if they were aluminium! What happened to your kyosho radio box? and are you sure the ball links is a hop-up and not down i'd feel safer with the normal grub screw thingys

the springs are there as they help apply progressive braking to the front and rear, also if your end point is off slightly then it doesnt strain and burn out the servo so readily.

I use a bit of fuel pipe on the other end for that, but i use fuel pipe for anything humanly possible In a year only replacing one or two short lengths of the stuff I've run through two or three metres!!!

on second thoughts I don't want to know what you got on brakes, weaker than the s3003 and i'm replacing that with my soon to be fixed Hi-Tec, not that it deserves it

But it was less than £50 and it's a much better servo than the one that was on there before because the car actually stops now

You don't need a KO just to stop it just move the brake linkage closer to the servo arm for more torque
Wh y do these people insist on having stupidly expensive servos on throtlle/brakes

More torque nearer the shaft yes but you also need to allow for where the ends of the rods are when you are WOT because of the change of angle and if you are using plastic gears will they handle the added torque? I'd rather get a decent servo in the first place. My original steering servo just died after a couple of uses so when my mate comes back from HK there is hopefully a 2344FET in his luggage
