byron

I know a few guys that run it and they like it just fine. One is running it in a (novarossi based) Crono RS5, another is running it in a Fantom .21 buggy engine, and another is running it in an OS .18 CV-R

At one of the tracks/LHS that I run at, they stopped carrying O'Donnel. Now they have only Byrons, and everybody there can say they like it a lot more than O'Donnel. Personally, I like it also. It runs cooler. Maybe it's just me.

Byrons fuel is great. I use the 40% in my stadium truck as of now and I used the 30% in my buggy. I have had zero problems with it. The fuel has plenty of lub and the mix seems to be consistant bottle to bottle. If you didn't know mugen fuel is Byrons maybe that will help ease your mind about it. Alot of RB-mods sponsored drivers use the Byrons fuel and they have said good things.

I know this is an old thread but I'm getting ready to order a case of Byron RACE 2500 25% and I wonder how come not too many people use 25%. I have 2 RB's a ECO 3 Port and a S7II, and a JP FX21B5N Mod. Seeing as most european engines are designed, tested, tuned, and shimmed for 25% it seems it would be more popular. I tried some Trinity 25% in my Savage last summer and I really like the way the stock engine responed to it. So I thought I'd give this brand and Nitro content a try for thid coming race season in the buggy's

I only run 25% in all my motors- this after trying various fuel brands with various nitro contents/mixes. I only run Trinity Monster HP now- and sometimes Maxy's 25%.

The one good thing about Trinity Monster 25% is I could get it in quarts from Tower. Is your engine and pipe relatively clean and corrosion free after using the Trinity. I know it was fuel of the year or something for an RC publication. I guess it's a toss up between the two for me at this point...

Yea all my engines come out clean as a whistle after several gallons of use. Pipes don't come clean- but there not supposed to. They have a carbon build-up as expected with any fuel- no big deal.

Byron for me, I've used odonnel and byron in my eb4 and dads hyper pbs with no problems put plenty of power. In my lhs the byron is slightly dearer but i know and trust it so i stick with it. I use 20%.
