[:@]My v-spec is back firing and then it dies? i got a little over 1 gal in it. it still has tons of compression. it does it at high speed (full throttle). i set it back to stock settings and re-tuned it. the temps were good (230) and i took the back plate off and the conrod and everything looks great. ive never had a prob one, until now? can anybody help? it sounds like a fire cracker going off and it dies???

I know a few of my engines have idled down really rough and I leaned them out a little and it settled it down and made it extrelmyl smooth.

Nitro engines can't backfire. FACT. They can run backwards as the timing remains the same. The poping you are experiencing, I guess would be because you have not changed a setting on the mixture and would mean it is way to rich. If you've run that much through the engine then you really need to lean her out now and get those wheels ripping up the dirt.
