Does the LSD unit make the car steer weird? It seems that all the pros drop it and install the standard unit Why?

I can't speak for others but here's my experience;
On our track, there's a section wherein tires have been buried so that we have some sort of swiss cheese obstacle.
If I miss my line going into it and hit a hole, the car tends to steer into where the wheels lose traction. This ends up the car turning suddenly without input. The gear oil in the Final TCD also seems too thin and for me seems similar in performance to a standard diff using grease (not diff oil).
However, the LSD is great when used in long sweepers as it doesn't tend to push out more compared to standard diffs.
The OFNA/HoBao guys here where I run like to use Torsens in front, but I didn't like the complexity and maintenance it requires.
