ive just stripped the car down, taken it apart and rebuilt for maintenance purposes. when i had the engine out (ws711) i couuld turn the flywheel all the way round. There is still some compression, but no pinch.
It is relatively easy to turn it over, so is it time for a new piston and liner. its had about 4 gallons through it.
I heard that they say this engine is not run in until it loses its pinch. Is there any truth in this?
