Unfortunately, the online shops in Hong Kong have bumped up the price. When it was first introduced, you could get them as low as $550 online. You can still find that price, but not online I'm afraid. You can try ebay.

Good Luck,

Full throttle is doing free shipping and a set of Komoto tires if you prepay!! I just ordered mine yeterday---good to go.
I know the website says either free shipping or tires but I got both! Call and talk to Frankie

ive done my research and this looks like the buggy to get . im sorry djray77 but i have a 7.5 and this thing is falling apart. i spend all my time in the pits working on it and it sucks. the hyper stays together but its not as stable. the guys have talked a lot about the XRAY and everyone says it is very dependable and doesnt wear out as quick as the 777. this is coming from people who own both and they put the Kyoshos on the shelf. just go to the teamxray.com forum and see for yourself.

yeah I have been to there website. I also have a Hyper 7 pro pcr, 7.5 and 777SP1. My bro owns a mbx5 and I have driven that also I cant speak for the XB8 as I havent driven one but out of the other the 777sp1 wins in ever aspect hands down. IMO.

I was going between the MBX5 and the XB8 for the longest time!! Which one...which one..

I said lets try something differant, plus all the great reviews of the buggy it sure cannot be a loser!! They say its a breeze to put together and work on---simple, in the pit changes of most everything! Its going to be a winner

The Plastic knuckles are very strong, I have been unable to break them in 4 weeks of trying.

OK, I am lost, you said that $680 shipped is too much, but then you said you are willing to spend $750?

Good deal there!! Told ya he hook you up......Its going to be great when it arrives at my doorstep

For the ebay price you guys are talking about, after you factor in Shipping and 40-50 dollors of tires (which Full throttle gives you) you are at or over 650! And they are not crap tires either

When will this debate on which car is better end? Potential buyers....put the names of the most popular cars in a hat, draw one....you're a winner. Take your time build the car, get building advise from people whose already been there. Strap a mill, and learn to drive the car. When you talk about the strength of a car....I've never broken a part on a car. How do you do that? (RUI) race under the intoxication. Every time I received an DNF it was human error. I wouldn't even choose a car because it comes with hop-ups, because you can always buy those later. Between the MP777,K3,K2, XB8, MBX5, Hyper 7, & etc. Pick a body style you like, either way it goes if you're a good driver, you'll be in the A-main.

Yes you are correct and the debate will go on forever! There are so many new buggies/trucks ect..... it will never end which is good, it can only make the hobby better for all of us!

The XRAY XB8 is the first off-road buggy XRAY has made and its causeing alot of hoop-la.....Its the lastest and greatest so everyone is excited in seeing how this bug compares to the rest of the worlds best----there are alot of great buggies out there no doubt and ALL have some pluses and minisis in some aspect, and we are out to find them out---Peace out[8D][8D][8D]

I like many others are trying out the XRAY sight unseen---cant wait to get it!

Stormer hobbies will be selling all XRAY parts as well!!

Since XRAY is setting up shop in the U.S (RC America), It will be simple for hobby shops to have and get parts for everyone
