ORIGINAL: hyperpmp1

say what you will but THE BEARINGS DO NOT SUCK! and the JP1 is the way to go and it lets the motor run just as good if not BETTER! im sorry but you are just wasting this guys money. 3 gal on my V and 2 others at the track are at the 4gal mark and have not had 1 prob w/ anything. just like any other motor if you take care of it properly it will last a LONG time. this is one of the best motors in the market today and i dont see or hear ANY issues w/ it .

Check out the OS Thread on S-Grid and you will see a TON of postings about the OS Bearing failures.

i personally have never had a bearing failure on any OS engine..VZB, Vspecs, .18's...but when i rebuild them..i do replace the os bearings with a rb c5 bearing..rear bearing only though...still use OS front..

and the 2050 is the only pipe to go with...the only other pipe i would run is a 086....as it seems to yield same performance..but has slighly less run time

A co racer and I bought the OS vz-r at the same time. We both have about the same amount of fuel thru the engine. His bearings went bad. Come to fine out that he was not putting after run oil.

They are about 110-135 anywhere you look. I got mine for $40 in mint condition used off of ebay.
