I have been talking to grahama89 and a few other guys about engine choice and it has come down to four engines, so rather than toss a coin i thought i would put it to you guys. What i would like in an engine is for it to be reliable, not too costly to maintain, not too hard on the fuel and last of all fast.If i have left out an engine you think i should consider then please let me know.

you know which one gets my Vote Roy! the last one
if those prices are from Top Options he hasn't got the OS atm seems to still be on order
i got my P7-R form him for under £200 too
421B gets my vote! ran 1 all year, just broken in another one last weekend! good reliable powerfull engine[8D]

I think you should consider the JP FX B5-N Stock. Same price range as all of those motors in your list. Matched up with a 9886 Pipe- the motor is unstoppable.

Thanks again guys for the input, its appreciated very much as always.
I wanted a second engine to keep the JP FX company, up to now the RB is in the lead !

RoyG- Once you get between 1-2 gallons through that motor- it will be more than a handful. (JP FX) I've tried alot of motor- from RB,Crono,Mac,CMB,Nova,Hyper,OS,JP,Rex,Top,Rossi Black Magic, I find the JP FX B5-N Stock to be the most reliable and most useable powerband- great fuel economy easy tunability- all clutch, pipe and needle tuning. Just make sure your patient with it and don't lean the motor out too early too much. Wait till its fully broken in-1-2 gallons.
