The first batch of TTR s3's was shipped to acehobbies yesterday. Saxton seems to really be turning Acehobby around and he says the support will be much better next year.

ohh i seen it in car action mag. i dont like the channel thats on the chassis. other than that looks like the XB8 kinda?they do have a new design for the shock pistons that i want. they have a groove in them w/ball bearings that make the ride butter smoothe.

I dunno- I like that thing. It's looks mean. And it looks like the channel would stiffen up the chassis eliminating torque braces. Great idea cause it also protects the car from some of its high rpm moving parts. I wonder how much it weighs. And he shock tower on the back and shocks going through the arms is a super nice touch.

Its different, but I don't really like the channels running down the center as it seems like it would negate any weight savings created by the narrow chassis width and the fact that they make the chassis a bit stuffy. What's wrong with chassis braces anyway? On the other hand, I do like the extra protection afforded to the shocks by running them through the center of the upper arms in the front.

The S2 was competitive in its day, Its still pretty good but lacks some of the little extras the newer buggies have.
That chassis is nice, how can you not say its cool :P. It is summin new, same with the arms and shocks, all these other buggies look basicly the same, there havent been any major differences. The tunnel may just put the weight back that was taken off the sides of the chassis but this means that the weight is situated more in the center. Im sure this must help with handling as it should reduce chassis role. Plus, the chassis must be very rigid with that tunnel which means the suspension can work properly and give more reliable handling. It also looks like it is top quality for between 499 - 550 $ which isnt bad.

The chassis seams to be cut very narrow at that point

ORIGINAL: had enough
Who else thinks that will be putting a lot of stress on that CF tranny plate?

Yea it might put some stress on the cf center diff plate- but that plate is also reinforced with alloy that goes straight to the chassis "tunnel"
