Duratrax Evader thoughts

I'm thinking about buying my son (9) a Duratrax Nitro Evader for Christmas. Does anyone have any comments about this buggy.

Is there a big difference between electric and gas in this buggy. Would it be easier to just go with the electric?

uuuh a nitro buggy that can go 50 mph for a 9yr old kid no go with electric it is a good buggy though
