Picco P7-R Good Deal?
Hey fellas- What do you think of this deal on ebay? It's a new in box Picco P7-R with a NIB Hardcoated Picco 069 Pipe and RB Header also NIB and Couplers. The Pipe alone goes for $65 and the Header for another $45 and the Motor is $299.99 at nitrohouse.com- And the guy only wants $350.99 buy it now for it? That's a deal if you ask me!! I bet if you bid on it you might be able to get it for even less than that.

i dont know? the reserve is not met at 255 and 12.50 ship and he charges for paypal? me myself i dont like the 2 piece pipe ive had to many of them come apart in a race and just dont like them. 1 good hit and they pop off. i use the 1 piece and its good to have that security. so i wouldnt use the pipe. but i havent shoped for prices on this motor? has anyone checked anywhere besides nitrohouse.

The cheapest I found this motor anywhere was www.nitrohouse.com and www.acehardwarehobbies.com and they were both $299.99. I bet the guy's reserve is around $300- then with paypal and shipping another $20 or so. So $325-ish for NIB Motor and Pipe shipped to your door- that's a good deal if ya ask me. And it says with Buy It Now- $350.99 out the door- delivered and with paypal fees. I emailed the seller and asked him. I already have a few of these P7-R's otherwise I'd snatch this up. But this is a good deal- just thought I'd pass it along to whoever is interested on here.

RE: Picco P7-R Good Deal?
This motor- and Grahama can back me up on here about it- is a torque monster. It's got tons of bottom end with a crazy midrange and more top end than a P5. When paired with the Picco 069 Pipe- it sings nicely. I use the 2 piece pipe on mine and it has yet to come apart. Even during hard impacts- just gotta use good zip ties or clamps. The pipes end is flanged out nicely so it makes it that much harder for the coupler to slide off. I havent had a problem with it yet and the motor makes tons of power all around. Grahama- runs his with a 15 tooth clutch bell and he says it still has plenty of bottom end and even more top end. He likes his better than his V-Spec.

Personally- If I needed another motor I would bid $299 on that motor and I bet that's his reserve. At $325ish that's a deal and a half. This motor made it's debut at the worlds this year, and I think was the fastest motor at the track- but then the driver got eliminated for having afew extra CC's. I think it was the same driver with the Picco P7-R. Pretty sure atleast.

yanick agion he was doing crazzy times and insane speeds and i believe 14minutes to a tank also due to a 4mm carby resstrictor i think.

RE: Picco P7-R Good Deal?
yeah Yannick was the fastest qualifier at the worlds using a modded P7-R
he used to sell his modded engines under the ARD banner & his modded Omegas (Piccos with purple heads) were very highly regarded
i've only done a few tanks with my P7-R so can't really comment too much on its performance, but early impressions are that its has loads of bottom end but seemed a bit lacklustre up top[&:]
from the sound of it i need to run it in & lean it out some more to release the top end i keep hearing about

You do indeed Adam. Personally I rate this engine Higher than any Vspec, P5, WS7 2 or 421b. It has the alround abilities you only hear of in peoples wishes. and at $300 it's cheap for the UK.

RE: Picco P7-R Good Deal?
Nope wasn't my auction. I think there's more than one person with a P7-R and a 069 Pipe.
But- I do have a P7-R and 069 Pipe for sale as well. $295 for all.

RE: Picco P7-R Good Deal?
Yea I think your missing ythe point of this thread. THe auction came with a brand new P7-R and a Brand New Picco 069 Pipe and RB Header. So at $295 it was an absolute steal. Long gone though.
