Was wondering if any one has had a go at making their own starter boxes? any ideas on whats needed? was thinking of using a cordless drill motor but not sure if the speed would be up to the job

Why" starter boxes arent that expensive- Especially if you figure the cost of a good dewalt drill that you would take apart for a starter box. The starter box would def be cheaper.

how about just getting a large 12V airplane starter and slaping that in a box. Total cost $50 with batt, charger and switch.
