Default Buying a new buggy.

Trying to sort out all the posts, adds, etc is a nightmare. I have been tryong figure what to buy and feel that it can be narrowed down but in the end just take shot at it. The xtm seems to be a great beginner buggy. The kyosho and Mugan the high end choices. The mayhem and ofna hyper 7 are the best middle priced race buggies. So my choice is between the Mayhem and and ofna with the ofna leading the decision because of part avaliablity. Can any one add to this?

If you havent already check out the review [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/article_display.cfm?article_id=423]Mayhem Buggy[/link] I have this buggy and I think it is a great all around buggy for the mid-range price.

when you get your buggy, ofna, mayhem *cough* X-TERM *cough* just make sure you know whats in the version your getting, they each have variants, PBS, PCR, Deluxe, Pro, ARR etc.. get the one you'd be most confident in buying

Well since you said you are probably getting a Hyper 7 here are the choices if you don't know them already:

theres the RTR Sports the most basic of the RTRs
then the PCR RTR which is another RTR Hyper 7
and the latest of the RTR Hyper 7s the PBS (i got this one for Xmas, its Great!)

there is also the Pro which is a roling chasis like most other Pros
