first, was it a good deal or just average at $250 plus $35 shipping??
second, after getting a header and radio, what else is recommended??
higher torque servo is in my mind and a nimh battery pack..... anything else. just looking for some feedback.

item description is like this.... Ofna Hyper 7 PBS converted to c-hub front end. C-hub has been installed complete. Has the following items installed: Pro chassis braces front and rear, pro wing supports, graphite top plate, pro steering assembly with bearings, Ofna light blue springs, 22 degree c-hubs. stainless screws. Comes with an extra set of 20 degree c-hubs. Ofna 5000 front, 7000 center and 1000 rear differential oil installed. I will include all PBS parts that have been removed and replaced. Included are 2 bodies and 2 wings, Ofna Jammin Rippers wheels/tires, stock springs, rear shock shafts, extra flywheel and stock screws. Comes with Dynamite and stock muffler...you will need a header. JR Z590 amd Z270 servos are installed. You will need your own radio. Hyper .21 8 port engine included that has had three gallons of fuel run through it. It ran when it was pulled out of the buggy. Needs a pullstart if you don't have a starter box. No starter box included. This is a used buggy, so you're buying it as is. Well maintained and clean.

Good buy at $285...servos arent terrible, but better than stock.
Nimh reciever pack is a must, you could upgrade the steering servo ,but I would reccomend a starter box first.

since its a pullstart, i thought i would get a roto start backplate and use a drill to start the motor. much cheaper than a starter box plus thats how i start my rc10gt.

pbs, pcr.... not much difference to me. i don't like the laydown servo and mine doesn't have it plus i get both the c hup and pillow ball suspension. so i'm happy with my pbs/pcr. as for the roto starter, i was wrong. you can't get one for the hyper motors only the force motors. [] i'll find some way to rig up my drill so i don't need a starter box. may just get a new engine. undecided so far.

I got a PBS RTR and it came with the start box and is also pullstart.

well sure it DOES take a starter box but you don't have to use one. it has a broken pullstart, but i hate pullstarts anyway. when it comes in the mail, the first thing i'll do is find out a way to rig the one way bearing onto a socket and extension to go in my drill. then i'll have a custom drill/roto start.

There servos are decent, but get the rechargable glow starter, I dont think you can put a roto start on a PBS.. am I wrong?

ITS NOT A PCR THE PRC HAS LAY DOWN SERVOS AND AN 8 GEAR TORSON CENTER DIFF.
BUT YOU WAS CLOSE.
AND YES YOU CAN GET A ROTO START FOR THE HYPER MOTORS ITS MADE BY RACERS EDGE

Wrong! The PCR does not come with a TORSEN center diff! It comes with the same spider diff that comes in the PBS.

hey skyline you are absolutly incorrect i am sitting here looking at 2 of them a kit and rtr and both have a toresen diff for the center. now the front and rear diffs or simple spiders like the pbs but the pcr is a torsen diff look it up.
thats why the special box for the center diff that reads torsen diff in small print.

fyi- The center diff in a PBS/PCR RTR is NOT a Torque Sensing Diff. It is a Spider diff and it says Spider on it. NOT TORQUE SENSING! Do your homework!

The center spider diff in the Ofna Hyper 7 is a regular/standard 8 gear differential. Check out the differences. IT HELPS TO KNOW WHAT YOUR SELLING IF YOU WANNA BE SUCCESSFUL!

may i suggest a jp mod motor and a ofna 2 speed tranny kit.....i have a hyper 7 pro with a jp and the 2 speed....my god is it fast

read the box skyline torsen is a brand they are more than the original "torsen diff" read the box the spider is made by torsen for ofna.

What Box?????????? The freakin diff comes installed in the RTR Hyper PCR/PBS. It doesnt come separately in a box. The manufacturer doesn't market you a RTR vehicle and say everythings installed but you have to put the center diff in!!!!!!!! You are getting confused between the Ofna Option parts Torsen diff that comes in an orange box and what is factory installed in the RTR Hyper PCR/PBS kits.

if you open a pcr pro kit you will find a total of 4 diffs 3 unassembled and one in a nice prety orange and white box (rtr is already installed so you dont get the box and paperwork) but if you read it you will find exactly what i have already stated.

if you only had an idea of what your are talking about. both are the spider diff in the rtr and the pro kit and both are made by torsen
plain and simple. admit you have made a mistake and let move on to more productive matters.
as for my hobby shop ask me and i will give you a price shipped.
if i dont have it instock i can get it in 3 days.
