Default Spur Gears Larger Than 48T For 777

Anybody know where I can get a spur gear and matching shim larger than 48T that will fit a Kyosho 777?

Will fitting Kyosho's FM082 clutchbell not give you the ratio you are after? It's a roller bearing bell, and not of HP or SP quality, but you can fit three suitable ballraces.

Just a thought.

With respect to ratio only I could use a smaller clutch bell, but I'd compromise strength. I'm still toying with a possible truggy conversion and need a driveline that can handle the additional loading of larger tires.

The MP-777 uses the same spur gear as the MP-7.5, and as truggy conversion are made foir the MP-7.5 there must be a larger spur gear made for that purpose.

Hope that helps.

That's what I'm counting on.
I had hoped someone else may have already found a good source for these larger spur gears and could pass that along.

www.holeshoteng.com has a larger 60 tooth spur for there kanai conversion that you can buy sperately. It mounts on the stock 46 spur gear. But then you also must raise the diff housing and get a larger center diff brace to allow clearnce for the spur, and also will need a modified radio tray otherwise spur gear will hit. Unfortunately its not as easy as just swapping spur gears. There is alot of tinkering involved. I just finished turning to K2's into truggies.

Yea I know what you mean, I've seen their 60T gear modification it's a lot more gear than I wanted. I originally posted larger than 48T because I had hoped something in the 50-52T range would be out there somewhere; most likely I would have been able to modify my current radio tray and center diff brace to accommodate a 50T spur. I think I'll just shelve the truggy idea for know, thanks for the help.
