I was looking at buying a rolling chassis for my first buggy. The choices are a TT EB4, a EB4 S2, and an Ofna 9.5 pro. All are used and seem well taken care of. All are selling for about $100. Which would be best?

Personally the S2 sounds best. BUT I dont go for the second hand well cared for patter, Nothing is as good as new. There is damage that cannot be seen from pics and that bit of wear it has may just be too much.

Appreciate the response. What might be some other good choices for a first time buggy owner with intermediate rc nitro experience? I may buy new so what would give me the most value for my money?

Best VFM IMO is the Ofna Hyper7 PBS, all that is really required is to replace the steering servo with a good quality High torque one. If you want to build a kit on the other hand then I recommend an Xray XB8, now this is a costly buggy to start with but the amount you save because of it's reliability more than makes up for the outlay, but remember there is NO radio gear, engine, pipe or TYRES in this kit, but you do get a 5 cell rx pack and some decent Hudy tools to build your ride.
