I dont mean to keep posting crys for help. All I want is to enjoy my car and have fun. I dont have a car to get around anywhere, so this forum is basically my only place to go. ok, My engine wont even start, and its primed, the pull start is fine, its warm (from hairdryer) all new glow-plug, new starter. Any links or tips? Greatly appreciated -Dominic

Dominic, i will try and help you, here is what you do, there is a needle that u will need to use a flat head screw driver to turn clockwise all the way in,(clockwise) after it is turn all the way in, now start to turn the needle the opposite direction(counterclockwise)you will turn it out about 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 turns out, now that this is done turn your idle needle in the same way(clockwise) and turn it out the same way,(counterclockwise) now making sure that fuel is flowing, glow igniter is charged, glow plug is good, now try and turn the car
on also make sure that the carb is at about 1mm opening when doing this, take the filter out of the carb, but dont run the car like this, this is just to see how the opening looks, if the opening is closed try and trim open with radio till its about that 1mm opening, if and when the car starts and its revving high, turn it off right away, and now turn that idle screw out(counterclockwise) just a little at a time till u realize the idle sounds good, once it starts right up leave it set like this, then we will work on the low end needle, hope this helps, i know how frustrating it can be, but dont despair we are here to help.

The worst thing for beginners is engine tuning. If you don't have a friend experienced in the hobby, or have a local hobby shop that has cool employees, you have to learn the hard way. I hope you can get her up and running and can actually enjoy the darn thing! Good luck
