Ok, well what bearing should i get the Boca bearings one or a novarossi one? I will replace the boot but its not the problem, even after i sealed the rip there was no change whatsoever. It seems that most people believe nothing should leak from the bearing so I hope its the problem. I will also try sealing it all up with silicone but it ran fine the first time so I doubt it has leaks in those places. From what i can tell the tuned pipe is well sealed up so im pretty sure its not a leak in that system. I suppose the already bad bearing corroded somewhat over the week so that the problem arose but it still seems strange. Im racking my brains trying to think of what might of changed in that week which would bring on this frustration. Ill go crazy if the bearing isnt the solution. I suppose ill also try a new fuel tank this weekend. Its strange, if I hold the throttle a little open the throttle will sit at the speed of a good idle but when I drop it to idle its like the idle speed is to low and it cuts out. The worst thing about these problems is diagnosing them.
Thanks for all the help

My Feedback: (158)
Well I use 3in1 oil as after run oil
I believe 3in1 oil is a petrolium based oil much like it's brother WD40,
Not good for the silicon O-rings and seals of a glow fuel motor
Just a thought,,,,Makes me wonder
I had a leaky fuel filter once,,,look there too
Have you dismantled the carb to look for debri blocking jets?
If the front bearing was leaking you'd have a lean condition through out the rpm range,,,not just at idle,, and you'd have raw fuel/oil as evidence. I've had leaky bearings and the engine idled fine,,,just made a big mess and ran hot
Hope you find the solution
