Ive been looking at hopping up my ofna 9.5 violator a little bit (nothing like what ive done to the emaxx). So far ive decided on some hitec 625 servos and a motor saver air filter (and probibly some CNR brakes). However i was looking at the tsais pipes, namely the maxima ( http://members.cox.net/tpipes/maximaBK.jpg ). are they any good? Im not really looking to add huge amounts of power (im bashing only). but do want to inprove the looks and performance.

Are there any other suggestions for "important" mods, in improve the looks and performance of the 9.5?

I would use the HS-625 for throttle and get the HS-645 for the steering its got more torque which is important. I dont think that pipe will do much to help in the performance department sure does look bling bling though, im pretty sure those are made for monster trucks. Check out the line of ofna tuned pipes they are nice and will give you some performance gains. If your looking to add a little more performance/strengthening get some CNC shock towers and cvd drivelines as well.

they claim they make them for 1/8th buggies as well...as long as it wont hurt performance i think im gonna get it...im looking for bling...lol

For a buggy I wouldn't suggest anything fancy. I would stick with getting more functional stuff rather than nonfunctional fancy stuff. But, for fancy and functional I would get the graphite rear shock tower or the front shock tower. I've never had a problem with the stock ones though. My buggy if stock and have no need to hop up anything else. If its stock and it was my buggy I would use a S3004 standard BB servo for throttle/brake because its all you need and would use the money saved on a HS-945MG servo or a S9405 servo. I'd but a fioroni sliding clutch next for ease of use and to eliminate 3 shoe clutches becuase of their lack of tuning and you wouldn't have to put any more shoes on. I wouldn't get any other chassis part unless its needed, say if you actually bend and break the front tower, then get the CNC one, but anthings up to you. But if you have limited funds then you should keep extra for breaking parts. Oh yeah I broke 2 things, the upper turnbuckle, the really thick one. To fix it I just cut a the head of a machine screw off and used the body for a spare. The other thing was a front arm. Both boke because I hit a car tire and the side of a building going about 10-15MPH.
