Airtronics MX-3S vs. JR XS3
The Airtronics MX-3S and JR Racing XS3 are similarly priced synthesized FM 3-channel radios systems; how do they compare with respect to performance, build-quality, features?

I own the Xs3, nothing particularly special, does what its required to do though and I havent had any problems with it.

They are both good radios.I have the MX3s.It is easy to navigat through all of the ajustments.It comes with a mini receiver which is nice to have in some cars.Here is the one i got.They have a special deal now that if you spend $199.99 then you get $30.00 off.The price would only be $140.00.

I got mine for $145, without having to spend $199. Mine was spend $150 take $25 off. Better deal.
MX3S looks wicked nice but haven't turned it on yet!
Comes w/ a bad manual though, not very newbie friendly.
The Rx is so much smaller than my airplane receiver!
P.S. Do you use NiCDs? If so, what do you charge them with for your Mx3S, flyinhi?

I just got mine in a few days ago.I order when that deal you got was going on but now it is a new deal.I just installed it in my car. I did not get the NiCDs yet.That is going to be on my next order.They are worth getting.With AA's the voltage drops pretty fast.The charger i am going to use is a airtronics wall charger. Its cheap and it works.
