if you are not racing get a XTM 24/7 Pro, it is as well a SH engine but it will outperform the .21 bottom and top end, as well the XTM is easier to get warranty on as well.............though i have found the SH engines are very picky with pipe selection, some pipes really hurt performance and others really bring the beast out............but I have heard great things about this little .21, but i strongly suggest getting the XTM version as the warranty is easier to get.........for durability i get about 6-7 gallons out of my SH engines before i replace the piston/sleeve...but i am pretty abusive

no it wont, we run both of these engines in buggies, the 24/7 pro is faster, both motors are in nearly identical buggies as well.....and we both have played with pipes and gearing as well as clutching and in the end the 24/7 pro is the faster engine...look at the motors and you will see they are identical internaly with the 24/7 pro having larger displacement, they have the same carb and porting work..........anyways the 24/7 pro is a wicked motor thats very underated, but if you like your SH21 pro you will love a 24/7pro, or if you wish you can call it a SH25Pro.......same engines,

The SH 24.7 is worthless on a track. Ya can't run it except in unlimited truck. And even in that class- there are .21's that will run circles around that 24/7 like it's a three legged dog.
