No they are the correct universals in them I've switched all of them out the right side has no problems but the left does i ahve no clue what is happening. I've tried everything. And guys i bought this car used and the previous owner told me that the a arms were a little loose could that have anything to do with it?

you could try limiting suspension travel for a temporary fix to get you through the race.....

you will get this with flex, have a look at the screws that hold in the hinge pins. ie the hinge pin holders.. they tend to get loose, i had a race last tuesday and my front uni popped out 2 times, i replaced the hinge pin holder and no more problems.. also pull your castor in to shorten the uni travel.. Um what elce ..... thats all i can think of, good luck
Sorry forgot to mention it was the lower hinge pin holder... check both though

and also when i want to limit the shock travel if that is necessary should i make it to where the a arms are about the same position as the chassis when there compressed?

yea - so theyre about parallel to the ground....but it sounds like massivemods has had this problem - Id go with the hinge pins holder advice as these hold in the a arms and could be what the previous owner meant by loose a arms

Aren't the hinge pin holders the screws that you can tighten so the other side of the a arm the screw sticks out? Well if thats it im stumped i have no idea whats wrong.

sorry i meant cambe, i always get those two wrong.. id say 2 deg neg camber is ok.. loads of people use lots of neg camber for off road.. helps steering and handling..
The hinge pin holders are the things that the hinge pins go into ... these are mounted to the diff housing, the two screws that hold it into the diff housing need to be tight.. check those..

My Feedback: (158)
-4 is OK If you like going through tires fast
-1 to -2 max
Also check the bearings in the diff cases and the condition of out drives hubs
the outdrive hubs get worn and rounded off with age, that coupled with a loose bearings in the diff cases can make for a very sloppy out drive, that might adding to the problem as well
There was a guy at the track (SV) yesturday complaining about Unis popping out, was that you?

Oh okay no i dont live in california so that wasn't me. Im thinking i should just replace the a arms and the diff housing and bearings and the outdrives which are the knuckles right?. To just get it back to good shape. Or should i just go to the hobby shop if i dont know whats wrong.
