Increasing S3 Steering...

After a recent thread discussing the merits of more steering deflection, I decided to have a look and see what could be done to the TTR-S3 to increase the throw....
If you look at the front of the chassis where it bolts to the gearbox, you can see 2 indents, one either side... These are the steering throw "limiters"... grinding these a little deeper will increase the steering throw by about 5 degrees...

The servo saver and slave arms actually go into these indents at full deflection and this limits the throw... the upgrade servo saver actually increases the throw about 1mm due to thinner material...

Please not this mod only increases steering deflection, you are still limited by front end grip, so the better your setup the more improvement it will make, but it does tighten the turning circle on slow hairpins... you gain approx 5 degrees of increased steering deflection!!!
