and heres another question, what are those 2 copper washer type things that come with the glow plug? i always just put one on, what do they do??

Start off by richening you high speed needle and that should fix it, most engines shouldnt go over 300F. ever.
The washers help with compression, as richie said, I run 1 washer on my buggy.

if you find you are fouling plugs then you use 2 washers.. lowers the compression
it would also help to know what engine , fuel and car you run too
