so today was a great day to drive my buggy, but....the pull start broke, i am very very pissed right now, anyway, does anyone have a good link to where i can buy OFNA pull starts????
also i am going to do a lot of cleaning on my buggy, so, i was wondering if it is easy to put back together all the parts on the buggy after u have taken it apart and cleaned it??

Go to nitrohouse.com they have just about every part for all the ofna buggies. Its not too difficult to re-assemble the buggy after cleaning it, just take your time and dont rush it, after the first few times you will know where everything goes much easier.

Agreed. If you can upgrade to a roto-start that would be a good idea. They are much more reliable and no more blisters when your having tuning problems
. Plus, these big block engines pakc alot of compression and it is just too much for a pull start to handle. They can only last so long and will end up breaking eventually.

Which OFNA buggy do you have? If it has a force engine then type in part # 52099 at nitrohouse.com and its there. A roto start can be a pain because the battery can die on you when your out bashing. Your pull start probably broke because you kept pulling on it while it was very tight, if the engine is new loosen the glow plug a little while your trying to start the engine then once its started tighten it up the glow plug.

IMHO, invest in starter box. No more blisters. I gave the rotostarts a try also, with a Mayhem RTR and a HB lightning Stadium RTR. If either one sat for a week or more, the one way bearing would get sticky and not engage and I'd have to pull motor out, remove rotostart, just to wipe the bearing clean. I tried different fuels, different amount of drops of after run oil, nothing helped.

I was in the sam spot last season... Busted 2 Hyper 8-Port Pullstarts in a week! So I finally put out the cash and got a good starterbox! I got a deal on a RTR Ofna Starter box from my LHS for about a 100 bucks! Well worth the money and I love it! I also needed to get one before I could break-in my S7 II that I should have soon!
