Highest TORQUE starter box?

Get the chrome top Ofna starter box, either that one or the mugen.
Just make sure either of those two have the single large 750 motor and not the two 550's

If it's torque your after go with a 12V direct drive motor, see link below.

it would be nice if the wheel on that starter box had a smaller circumference. as it stands, my 777sp1 won't lay flat on top without the wheel making contact with the chassis

hey zim, that's that box that 95% of all racers at my track use, including many drivers with 777's. you just have to set it up right, using the plastic stand-off that come with it. good luck

I use the box that RJP63 has a link too, thats the chrome top Ofna box I was talking about.
It works fine my 777, like the post above says, you just have to set it up right.

I run the blue OFNA starter box with chrome top. Its got a 750 sized motor powered with a 12V gel cell and I haven't had any trouble cranking over several engines. Torque, reliability and run time is great.

i used the 90 degree plastic pieces to align the rear end of the buggy, which lines up the flywheel hole perfectly. what else can i do?

zimzalahbim,
Tough for me to say, but pretty much everyone I know that runs a 777 uses that box.
This may help, the front 90 degree plastic pieces on mine are turned around backwards, so the front chassis does not "lock" into them, it simply rests up against them. Then to start it I push the rear down to get the starter box motor running, I then push the front down to engage the flywheel.

Definitely Thunder Tiger! When I broke in my WS7II it never ever got stuck save when I tried to turn it over by hand after 1 litre.
