will it stay running if you leave the glow ignitor on it? what engine is it? Are you using fresh fuel? Did it run ok last time you ran it and did you change any of the engine settings since then?

if it revs up before it dies, richen it. If it bogs, lean it. Adjust it 1/4 turn at a time until you get it running, then fine tune with 1/8 turns. What kind of engine is it?

i'm using a thunder tiger pro 21 engine and the glow plug is new but the fuel is from last year. the engines cuts out so fast i can't tell whether the rpm increases or decreases before it dies out. i don't know the base settings for the low end needle so i don't know where to start. Thanks for all the help guys.

LOL,
Throw it away?? Rusty crank??
Great advice, when it might just be bad fuel. or a case of him using too cold a plug
Dude,
Try fresh fuel, the right glow plug for the fuel you are using and a slightly leaner than the factory setting,,, and then tune from there.
If you can't getting going seak out someone with more experiance to help you tune it.
A question,
If you don't have the manual, how were you able to set the HSN to factory settings??

Im betting that if he opened that engine up he will find rust covering the end of the crank. and that is stopping the engine from running properly. it needs a servise....
