TTR dwarfs Associated, not sure where you are getting your info from rustler. The MGT, along with every RTR, and every engine that AE sells is already made by TTR.

Two things on the Chrysler deal;
-Daimler was the stronger of the two partners
-Many in the auto industry call it a Damiler take over of Chrysler
Chrysler was very weak a few years ago, there is no way they could have made such a venture work. In fact, without Damiler, Chrysler would be in the same situation they were in before they launched the life saving K cars in the late 70's early 80's.

Saw this coming a month ago when I picked up a RC18t...Thunder Tiger stickers under the shell.
At first I was curious why an AE car had TTR stickers on the chassis....now I know why.

I would love for the U.S. version of the S3 to go under the Associated name. It would make it a lot easier to find parts for it, although I suppose they could just use Associated's distribution channels without changing the name.

Someone asked about Futaba and OS being the same company. I don't believe they are. But I'm pretty sure that in the US Greatplanes is the distibutor of both products. Great planes is in bed with Tower Hobbies. So in the US those 4 companies are practically the same.
