Default Differences between those 3 engines ?

Hi,
I'd like to know if there is a gap of performance between the
.21 8 port motor & the .21 4 port motor ?

and between the .21 4 port motor & the cx21 which comes with the Blitz LX, Jamara LX, Magnum Lx (depends of the country) ?

I'd like to buy my Hyper 7 but the sports version is coming with the .21 4 port in Uk, etc... and the "standard version" comes w/ the cx21 in France which is criticised for his power & overheat tendances...
thanx for your answers.

The 4 port is the best engine overall from your list. Though the 8 port has a bit more speed to it, the 4 port is more reliable, the CX is a no go area for me.

perhaps I'm wrong for the name "cx21" is the one coming with the first 1/8th scale buggy of the same firm (not the first Hyper 7).

Thanx for you quick answer for the reliability of the 4port, I don't care if I loose 5mph...for a more reliable motor.
so its specs are good, that's nice.

Other advices ?

yop it's either written on the head, or you can see it when it's open. --> 4 port instead of 8.

but, if it's french version (which i doubt) it might be another one.

the UK, US, Belgium, Chinese version are coming w/ the 4 port... the french one should too not ?strange isn't it.
perhaps the guy in my lhs didn't know it, i'll have a look to the official website.

I'd loved to have experiences w/ the 4 ports Goaferboy is it a good engine ?

i havent actually had it running yet. its at my lhs being set up cos i had a number of problems with it (not just the engine). there seemed to be too much pressure in the engine but it still started, it didnt stay started long (i think it was too rich) and my failsafe kept cutting in on fresh batteries. i could have probably fixed it all myself but i wanted to make sure it was all ok cos it was a new buggy. the engine seems ok when it was running. seemed very meaty
