Ive got one of these and they are superb!!!!! Very hardy! Ive only just started in nitro cars and this was my first 1/8 buggy! its a superb starter car as the settings straight out of the box are perfect. ive had mine for about a month now and i love it! it just seems to be getting faster and faster. its only got a 1 speed gear box and a .26 engine which means it gets to top end speed very very quick. some people say it lacks abit at top end but thats complete noncense. ive bashed mine hard and i cant break it, read this review( http://www.bigsquidrc.com/reviews/hot_bodies_l2rr.html ) these guys put it through its paces and couldnt break a thing.
All that has gone wrong with mine is my one way bearing broke which ive been told is very rare.
Where is this video you see of it? I havent been able to find a good video of one in action yet.
heres a few pictures of mine(My HotBodies lighning is the purple one).
trust me mate you will love this car!!!!

longhorn, since you are going to the racing place every now and then, you could actually race. but for racing, i'd suggest the Ofna Hyper 7 PBS rtr because it is pretty cheap, as in 50 dollars more, and is a better racer

i know. it's a very good basher. but the pbs is more a racer than the lightning 2 rr. and you go to that track. you could actually race, and get experience. very good for you
