Here's my progress on my brushless hyper 7 buggy. I built my motor mount tonight. Several hours worth of sawing, dremeling, more sawing, filing, sanding..... I still have to drill a couple of holes in the base to bolt it down to the chassis.

awesome mod! the mount looks real clean, I like it. I'm interested to see how you work out the layout of your battery packs, steering servo, throttle control, and receiver. should be a nice set-up if you like electric. Do you think it will run a 20 minute main? :-)

remember Li-Po batteries are your friend. Looks like a real clean job though.

you did a really nice job, it looks great. i have some questions for you
1) why did you mount the motor up so high? It would obviously have a negative affect on the CG, but i am assuming you did this to fit the batteries symmetrically side to side?
2) what are you using for a battery box?
3) are you mounting your steering servo as a laydown?
thanks!
