Default 1/8 Buggy Length

I'm new to buggies and have been looking at their specs. Any idea why some 1/8 buggies measure a little over 15" in length (Jammin) and some measure over 19" (Mayhem)?

Do the companies measure differently?

I'd think the same type of vehicle (buggy) in the same scale (1/8) would be reasonably the same size.

Just a guess, but maybe some people include the wing, and some don't.

I saw the 15" length for the Jammin on OFNA's website.

Also, R/C Car had a review of these two and others that had the length of the Jammin at just over 15" and the length of the Mayhem at just over 19" - you'd think they would have measured all of them consistently.

Does someone have a Jammin or a Mayhem they can measure from front to back with and without the wing?

On a website from the German importer it says that the Jammin is 500 mm long!

It does sound huge when put like that! Half a metre!! Still, it's consistent with the approx 19 inch quote from other sources.....19.65804in=500mm

Anybody done a measurement with and without wing yet?
