Default Engine Mod Information etc..

I have searched this forum top to bottom and cannot find info on mods to Nitro engines.
I am keen to tinker and want to do some study. Surely there must be others out there that share the same sort of passion.
Do you know where I can find information on port timing, port shape/angle/size etc etc...?

CENSPARES should not be entertained anymore, all he does is degrade people trying to help him, with his "YAWN" comment! Everytime he starts a thread, there is always trouble! I hope MODS see this and just BAN him! The link that was given to him before, just had more info than he can handle! or if he wasn't lazy he would have use the search feature[:@][:@][:@]

then he should " LEARN" it the hard way like everybody else!

engine modification is like a lot of things in the mechanical world, you have to develop a "feel" for things! you can't just read a few posts & think you are the new Rick Brake, Ed Bridges or Ron Paris!

there are NO shortcuts, start practising & learn!
try searching the "NET" (google seems good to me) on 2 stroke theory & go from there, you first need a good solid understanding on the operating principles of a 2 stroke engine before you can think about optimising what the factory has given us!

and yes you possibly already know roughly how they work, but if you know that then you would already have a feel for what needs to be changed etc!

is there an "ignore member" feature on this board?[:'(]

What many guys don't realize is that these engines are already operating on the edge of the envelope. There is a very fine line between performance and detonation in an engine that is turning 30,000 rpm. Seriously, if you want high performance then there are plenty of great engines out there and they are as scary as you would ever want. Plus, they would probably cost less than modifying an inferior engine in the long run.

Wow turn the hormones down a notch girls.
I used the search button, didnt find a great deal a few tid-bits hear and there but thats about it.
I return the following day to see some huge deal made out of this thread. I mean, wow.. get a life.

My 'Yawn' was to the Skyline guy who seems to be very rude and negative about everything. I even read comments on other pages when I was using your wonderful search button, that talked about how negative he is.

I eventually found the info I needed, even if it did mean I had to wade through 10,000 childish comments and pages and pages of people getting personal about their toys. Boy what a hobby.

I realise that engine porting is a fine art and after attacking a few engines myself with the dremmel I have found out the hard way that it aint that easy. I just thought there would be a few guru's on here who would want to talk shop perhaps. Not a bunch of clowns with buggys.

Actually I agree with you on this particular thread, even though I was one of those to condemn you about the marketing thread, which was, lets be honest, not exactly kosher.

Gotta tell you tho' mate, you seem to have a way of bringing it out in people. Unfortunately, you earned your reputation with your first few posts, and you know what they say about first impressions...you don't get a second.

Anyway everyone, give censpares a break, it's a bit harsh to slam him first for not searching properly and then bringing up previous bad attitude which is now in the past.

Brothers in arms and all that, good will toward men...blah blah...lets ban rustler08 instead...

YOU JUST PROVED EVERYONES POINT IN ONE POST !!!!

Also you sure know how to pick those brands, I wonder if it's because of your 'personal' touch on this forum that the BIG boys wont be affiliated with you.

I think most all of you are acting very childish. This forum should be about engine modifacation, not everyone's personal opinions of other members. I clicked on this thread hoping to learn some usefull info but instead I see a bunch of people acting like 6th grade girls. Thanks to all for wasting my time (I realize that I did not have to read it but I kept thinking someone would eventually respond with something worth while. My bad.)

You are right, and we did try to help the thread started, but instead he was bashing the information. For example, in this link http://www.edj.net/2stroke/jennings/ there is a pdf for a book that cost $200.00 if you where to go out and buy it. We where trying to help, but you have to understand this poster has done this in many other threads

LoL you gotta love the new guys who come on to this forum- jump in head first into a thread that they have no history on and try to act like they know what's up! Never fails.
If you were really trying to learn something you would click on the links provided in this thread.
