I have a hyper 21 8 port that comes with the pbs. Ill run it full throttle to get it cleared out then when i bring it back in the idle is high which i guess this is normal untill the crankcase gets filled back up... Ive noticed after it idles back down ill just sit the for a few seconds and it seems like the idle isnt smooth. Whats the deal...?

If when you idle back down and the revs stay high for a few seconds and then lower down then you're running lean. If you are running rich enough on the high end then try richening the low end needle. Adjust it in 1/8 turn increments.

Well i think i got the top end pretty good... the temps are around 260-270. If i richen the low speed up it seems to load up really fast and the take off is crappy.

It depends...if it's going to die and then fires up again, and you think that it's not smooth then maybe the idle it's too low.
After you go to idle it should lower rpm from high idle, after at least 10s(some say more than 20s,others more than 1min,...) the longer it stays the leaner is your LSN.(correct me if i'm wrong but these are info from different sites).
And also try richening the HSN around 1/8th(H21 8 port needles are toooo "sensitive") of a turn,260-270 is kind of high.
What's the ambient temp there?
What fuel are you using?
What plug do you use?
Some more info will help a lot!

The temp is around 70. Im using hpi 20% and OS 8 glow plug. I think i just need to richen the needles to where its to rich and tune from there.. How many seconds should it be able to idle and not load up and have a fast take off?

It should take 10-20 seconds to load up while idling. You also might want to try an OS A-5 glow plug. It is a little cooler glow plug and works well with nitro contents of 20% and above. Experiment around a bit with different settings and different plugs until you find the "sweet spot" for your particular engine.

Ok...i took my buggy out today and man she was rich. It was probably 70 out last time i tuned it and today it was 80 so i can see why she was rich. I tried to lean it out a lil and it helped but i noticed it had good smoke coming out the exhaust at take off but when i got to full speed i couldnt see any... the motor temp was around 220. I was in a parking lot. Should you be able to see smoke all the way?

Don't use the O.S A5 plug it's too cold and doesn't work well with this engine.Keep the O.S plug, that's what Alex is using and he does know his hypers!!
You will not see much smoke at WOT at high speeds.(just some-but not that much...as you see at lower speeds when you go WOT).
