ORIGINAL: UF DUB

how does a one-way work in the center? im confused.
I'm assuming it would allow one set of wheels (front or rear), to spin faster than the other, but not the other way around. Not sure what practical purpose it would serve. I suppose that under certain track conditions it would act in a similar way to a locked diff, but then open up under a different condition.

Sounds interesting, anyone got any solid info about this?
