I have a XTM X-Terminator and i was bashing it around without the body on and did slide. After the slide it seems that the steering will respond to the transmitter but the throttle will not. When brake or accelerate the car will not respond.

does the servo move? if it doesnt then then check all the connections and if it still doesnt move get a new servo cos its knackered. if it moves and still no throttle or brakes check all the connections between the servo and brakes/carb

also, if i pull the servo back which opens the carb, then i hold down the throttle, they servo will stay in the place that it was when i held it back and when i let go it goes back to brake. So its showing that it will respond, but its as if its not strong enough

Check the wires - if there is even a small scrape/rip in one of them that can cause the problem as well. If is was the stock servo then I agree it is probably toast and time for a new one.

I saw a post somewhere on this site a place in Phoenix, MD ---- www.nuflear-rc.com You may want to give them a try. What interested me is that they have a race on June 5th - but it looks like it is for members only (don't know why). It's not too far from you - give them a try.
