Default Servo question

I'm pretty new to rc and i wanted to replace the stock steering servo for my LX comp so i was wondering whats the difference between the J Conn and the S Plug on the HS-645 M.G. servo.

The link on hobbypeople is http://www.hobbypeople.net/guru/kws_320745996.asp

One connector (can't remember which) has a fin on it for certain receivers. In the worst case, if you get the wrong one, you may have to just strip the fin off the side of the connector where it plugs into the receiver. It's no biggie.

The J-connector has the fin, but it is very easy to strip off.

You have to use one of the servoarms that comes with the HiTec servo. And maybe reverse the direction, but apart from that you should be fine.

Are you using the standard batterypack (4 AA's) that comes with the Comp? Because if you are, then you should get a 6V hump pack before investing in a new servo.
