Default new guy needs help!

hey how we all doin? well im new to this place and just bought a thunder tiger ttr s3 i wont have it assembled for a little while im gonna get some of the cool red hop up parts for it. i have a new airtronics m8 and spectrum mod. for it (had to sell the lst to get it) but im kinda haveing a hard time decideing what engine to run in it. i have an option team turbo slider clucth and will use it i know the os vspec is a good one not a big fan of 3 port engines though anybody use collari 21? does anybody own a thunder tiger? if so how do you like it. good points and bad points. help me out gang!!!

Great buggy, no bad comments about it really, unless you find that the chassis is too stiff as some people have...

Consider a P5, a 421B, a P7R, RB WS7II, Collari lc21b7, JP B5 stock...these are all s'posed to be quality motors...I am thinking about the same thing as you at the moment, and I'm leaning toward the v-spec, 421B or JP B5...the collari and the RB are allegedly not that hot on bottom end, and my track is tight and technical, so they are out...

Word of advice... get the King Headz center diff brace right from the start.
If you decide to use the upgrade shock towers...double up the front tower with the stock one behind the upgrade...then you will need to dremel the slot in the towers where the upper hinge pins pass through. The plastic spacer on the hinge pin will have a tiny amount of contact with the shock tower...this is not good...just need to dremel the tower enough to eliminate the slight binding.
