Nice...you don't need to bother with the lay down servo tray though, it does not lower the cg significantly, and makes the steering linkages and servos a bit of a beeatch to work on...spektrum radio system is not a radio set as such...the spektrum system is a receiver and a transmitter module, which plugs into the transmitter's radio module bay in place of the existing FM/AM module...you can buy it included with some radios, but if you already have a fairly high end radio, you only need to buy the spektrum bits and pieces. Neither of those engines are going to be very competitive unless you are a top top driver...what you using for a steering servo?

And the module is actually built in, and not a changable module? I know they are selling them (M8s, helios, etc.) complete with module, but my point was that if you had a modular radio, you didn't necessarily need a new radio set...

Still I didn't know this product, thanks for the info...you live and learn as they say...

No it's not built in, it has a removeable JR compatable module

The specktum has a module for JR, KO, Air M-8, and Futaba/Hitec systems

I just got the system for my Hitec radio,,,It worked great at the races last weekend,
No more running on bootleg freq. for me

nice. i like the black wheels. i was going to have black wheels on mine but i decided the white and chrome ones would stand out better on a black car. then again the one iv posted else where is for display. i use the standard shell and wheels for bashing

the hyper 8 port race is plenty fast enough if tuned well it will stay with the p5's rb's etc.it is VERY heavy on fuel though.
