Default Jammin x1 cr

im sure some you guys have seen some of my posts about different buggies and i finally decided on one and bought it...I chose the Jammin or Hong Nor X1-CR[>:] and im very satisfied with it...does anyone know of any hop ups available for it as in shock towers and radio trays? or anything like that? I like the stock towers an all but i want to get some thicker ones or some blue anodized ones

thanks

Why don't you drive the buggy a bit first...the only reason to change the shock towers is either if they break or you need further adjustment options...I don't think you're in either of those situations yet since a) you just got your buggy and it can't be broke, and b) you can't have dialed it in yet in such a short time...furthermore, how will you know what the effect is of a stiffer tower or a different adjustment option if you've nothing to compare against? Drive it a bit first, then get the hop ups you feel you need...

If you want to go for some aluminum R/ hubs, I've found that the Racers Edge hubs for a Kyosho MP-7.5 will fit the Jammin' buggy, with some shimming of course. After it's on though, they look sweet, I'll post some pics for looks and to show you where I had to shim it.

The shock towers on the Jammin X1-cr are cnc 4mm 7075 aluminium - that should last a few days at least....

do you have the RTR or the pro? If you have the Pro the only upgrade you need is the captured hinge pins. Hong Nor is coming out with 5mm shock towers with a total of 6 mounting holes. The pro towers are plenty strong though, the only reason I would want the new towers is for the extra holes.
