What kind of starter box is it? And what kind of battery?
In my ofna universal I just got the Hobico 12v battery and the Hobico charger.

All i use is a 12 volt battery charger to charge my gell cell for my starter box. Clip on the leads (+) & (-) and charger it for 4 - 6 hours. Always works for me.

bad boy: no... you cant use the intellipeak to charge that battery... The big battery you have is a 12 volt lead acid gel cell battery and the intellipeak doesn't charge lead acid, only nicd and nimh...
get a 12v wall charger at about 1 amp
