well i hate to complain but i could use some advise ok i have a ttr s3 and have never run it yet still waiting on an M11 it will be here friday. but i have placed 3 orders fot ttr upgrade parts through my LHS. including a set of racer edge wheels. well ive placed 3 orders in 3 weeks and the only thing ive got is the stupid wheels. its becoming B.S. i know i can get parts all day online through amain and nitro house but i like my LHS. and they are my friends so i like to support them 1st. plus he usually gives me breaks on parts but man im running out of paitence. they usually order through hrp distributers wich im finding out may not be so good. i ordered my 3rd order monday and he said he would try straight from thunder tiger well i called today and none of my orders have showed up. im thinking if by friday i dont have parts im gonna snap and pull the engine and pipe and sell it and buy an ofna cause parts for them are a dime a dozen what do you guys think i should do? i really like this buggy but man good forbid i break the damn thing ill be down for to long i cant have that!

selling your TTR for an Ofna just to support your local hobby shop...I think thats stupid. kindly tell your buddies at the LHS sorry but I can't wait for you to get my parts and order them from A-main hobbies, they have mostly everything in stock ready to go. I order everything on-line. the only thing I go to LHS is for fuel.

this is my quote from another thread...Hello people, This is my 1st post. I was reading about the Chassis of the EB4 bending.... and I had to register to post my experiance about 2 hours ago. I had my buggy out in the front yard...EB4 S3 with the delta box... RB Ws7II engine. I lost my electronics and the buggy darted about 50yards.. almost full throttle right into a cars tire. .perfectly perpendicular into the sidewall.
She flipped over landed on all fours, the air cleaner went flying off, the pipe came off the header, it was on its way back to me,came flying up the curb and I did a superman dive into the grass to try and catch it...failed....lol It eventually bogged and cut out because of no pipe. Well... Upon retrieving and inspection.. I disovered my chassis has a nice bow in the middle where the center diff mounts, the front center diff support buckled causing the chassis to bend like a bannana. the front of the chassis where the front diff mounts also looks like its pushed up a little. I might find some other damage when I tear it down But I don't think there is any. I still had half a tank of gas, quick put her back together and ran it dry, especially to make sure my engine was still OK. She still drove. This was an EXTREMELY HARD HIT!! luckily it was into a rubber tire. ..absorbed some of the impact...lol. If this was any other buggy...there would of been some serious major carnage. might as well go by a new buggy kind of carnage. The Delta box Chassis saved the day and the rest of the buggy. She performs excellent, Havn't raced in competition yet but I'm sure shes gonna win after I hone my skills after 10 years of not being in the hobby. After seeing what I saw today...I would never run anything else!! I am SO SO SO happy I got this buggy!!!

i had a feeling it would take one heck of a lick to bend this chassis this is the main reason i bought this buggy it reminds me of my lst a very inovative and rigid desighn.

being that I have to get a new chassis, I'm thinking about the new flat chassis thats out.. they say it is a little longer than the delta box. you know anything about it?? My thinking is that anything flat can bend easy regardless of thickness... thats why I want to stay with the delta box...love the design.

I would be lost without A Main Hobbies, 2-3 days to send parts 2500 miles, and they dont put them on the big brown truck that charges double.
I would like to support my LHS and buy from them, but besides fuel and glow plugs they stock nothing for 1/8 scale bugs...unless you consider the Storm RTR a 1/8 scale buggy[:'(]

I hate my LHS... when the guy found out I had an S3 with an RB WS7II he quickly got quiet and didn't want to help me out. All of a sudden ...he knew nothing.. They have a race team and the guy runs S3's....go figure. the only thing I get from them is fuel because I have no choice.[&o]

from what ive heard the flat chassis is desighned to give more flex for very bumpy tracks. i personaly dont see the need for one.

Its very thick to retain the stiffness and its longer... it improves stability on bumpy tracks...

Ordering from the distributor is terrible. You may sometimes see Online Hobby shops out of a part for 2-3 weeks. What the heck is that? They order maybe $1000 worth of the same part number each order and the distributors can't get off their sorry bums and get that shipment out the next day. I don't care if the parts have to come from the moon, their is still no reason why distributors should let great businesses like Amain Hobbies lose sales. My advice to you is forget about loyalty to LHS. I was a fool once. I ordered my parts through my LHS/track owner and his prices were almost double that of the Online HS's. His RC experience was so phenomenal and I just wanted to get in good with him.
