A .28 has the same size crankcase as a 21-25 size so it will fit ok. I know the Monster Truck guys love the SH28 for its grunt, so it should monster a buggy

Cheeeep

But I wasn't too impressed with the pull start from them. Not as nice as the OS RGX

But is the wasp a vast improvement because I am in the crap uk which means i may need to pay

17.% tax, thats $31 extra, then handling fees, more tax e.t.c but the one I picked is a much less tax.

Buy the Novarossi 8 port.....NOTHING can touch it. About $300.00 bucks and it fits right in.

why not try a sirio 27 (3 or 7 port). they have 3bhp and rev out a 43,000rpm. they are also great build quailty (just beware of the pull starts, they break so easy).

i have one in my savage and will be putting one in my hyper 7.

the 3 port is cheap for this type of engine but the 7 port it more pricey.

Thunder Tiger has a .21 car engine that can be had for less than what an OS RG costs. Don't remember the exact part number now. It retails for <$100 and is supposed to be decent.

I remember your other thread and you are concerned with the price in the UK right?

Where can you get that engine online?

And more importantly, do anybody know where it's possible to buy the backplate from the TTR engine (apart from ehobbies.com)?

Has anyone ran the LRP.28 yet? I was wondering how it ripps compared to like a mach 26, or wasp 26. How is the tuning also? Does it hold a good tune or is it like the wasp 26 where u have to keep the idle a little high so it doesnt quit on ya if u give it half throttle and let off. Im running the wasp 26 in my hotbodies truggy right now but want a little more for the track(novarossi 28 is getting me in the straights).

Thanx for the info in advance
