proper maintanence for aluminum clutch shoes?
i was screwin around today and i want my buggy to still be grabby when i go racing tomorow what exactly do u do to keep ur aluminum shoes in top condition and how often should it be done.
Also is there any type of adhesive to help my center diff from leaking a lil fluid besdies silicone gel?

It really depends on how worn your shoes are but about the only thing you can do, aside from replacing them, is file them down slightly with a high grit metal file.
I don't have an answer for you on the diff question. I've never had a problem but I've heard of others using the silicone you mentioned.

Sandpaper may or may not be strong enough to file aluminum shoes. Only one way to find out . On my buggy and my MT, it wasn't the shoes so much as the clutch bell that needs sanding. The aluminum shoes grooves them pretty quick.

I don't think sandpaper will do the trick........it might with enough elbow grease though. I use a dremel with a grinding wheel to freshen up the shoes and clutchbell as needed. I just use common sense when deciding whether to exchange them for new ones or not.

im pretty sure that the stock(777) clutch springs are too soft making my idle to high no matter what.
