Servo glitching??? BUT...
A weird thing is happening and don't know what it is.
I have a futaba 2ER radio system, with GWS throttle servo and a blue bird 620MG steering servo. The throttle servo is glitching, and it makes driving VERY difficult.I cleaned the receiver and nothing(still goes on).Removed the steering servo(blue bird) and the thing works ok.Installed an old futaba servo on and it works also. When i put the blue bird it starts the glitching. What i don't understand is that it glitches on the throttle servo and not the steering, where is the blue bird. How come?
Can one servo affect the other?
I also indtalled a new blue bird that i have and the glitching continues to the new servo also.
CAn it be the universal connections on the servos?
I also have a fail safe which i removed and it still glitches.
I didn't check the switch though.

RE: Servo glitching??? BUT...
Could be drawing to much current, the steering servo may be pulling to much juice, just a thought.
What kind of battery pack?
Do you have another reciever you can use to troubleshoot with?
One thing for certain... dont run the car until you get things sorted out...glitching throttle servo is uncomfortably close to a runaway.

RE: Servo glitching??? BUT...
I use 1800NiMh AA custom packed batteries(5aa=6V).
I've seen somewhere, people cleaning the servo but can't remember where i saw it and how it's done!

RE: Servo glitching??? BUT...
Wow, I JUST had the Exact same problem with my CX2P Airtronics radio.
I changed both servos with new ones and the throttle kept it's jitter when the steering was activated.
Luckly, my reciever had another spot called channel 3. I put the throttle servo onto channel 3 and it works.
I run the 75 Mhz channel 90 FM radio.
It may be your receiver going out.

check that the plastic that covers the servo wires hasn't ripped off. if any wire is exposed, cover it with tape, electrical tape. this should take care of the problem

Simple test:
Reverse the servos. Put the steering in channel 2 and the throttle in channel 1.
If you still get gitter on channel 2's servo, you know it's your receiver.

Indeed, a lot of the cheaper servos contain a very rough BEC (battery ellimination circuit) this is intended for electric cars with ESCs, but also there is the chance that metal to metal contacts are causing an emitance of radio waves, things like clutches and brakes are the worst for it. You can eliminate all but one metal to metal area (the clutch), so the glitch may come and go and on the blue birds, well they'll just burn out if they glitch for too long.

RE: Servo glitching??? BUT...
I did change the servos order. And it's the blue bird that's causing it but don't know why.
Can someone explain in detail the circuit thing and the current of the high torque servos in cheap receivers?
And why this happened now and not from the begining?
Couldn't it be just the connection of the universalconnector?
What if ichange the blue bird connection with futabas connector?
