Default slippin

i have a new rtr katana that has about a gallon of fuel thru it. its been runnin great. now its slippin like the clutch isnt engaging. the buggy will move a little but the engine revs up to high rpm. any suggestions?

Is the clutchbell spinning or not. If so then is the spur spinning? If the spur is spinning the it is in one of the diffs. If the CB isn't spinning then you need new clutch shoes.

when i had the motor in it running it looked like the car would start to take off but didnt have the power. the motor was reving fine. looked like all gears and drives were working proprely.took motor out and took clutch apart.looked burnt or like oil got in it. cleand it all up but didnt try yet.i read to modify youur clutch u can grind lines in the bell to help the clutch grab. is this true? thanks for your help........

Yes that is true, but it will wear your shoes alot quicker too.

ok its in my transfer case,took it apart and found 1 shim missing. and the gears look a little rounded.probably have to get new ones. the car is only a month old. almost a gallon thru it. does this seem odd...... thanks
