Default engine probs

hi i have just bought a seconf dhand hyper 7 engine and it has a new piston and liner fitted but when i turn the fly wheel once or twice it wont go any further every thing is their and has good combresion and i was wondering if anybody knows what is wong


i also havent even tried starting it incase i break any thing

If it's a new piston and liner it could just be high compression. Try it without the glow plug in and see if it turns a little easier. If it does reset the needles to break-in settings and do a complete run in ot heat cycle.

ps It's sometimes easier to start a high compression engine with the glow plug a little loose. Then as soon as it starts tighten it up.

i have taken out the glow plug and the head of the engine and it is still hard to turn its good for a couple of turns then it gets impossible to turn

Sounds like a strip down job. Make sure all the shims are in place and that the liner is in the correct way. Re-build with plenty of oil and see what happens.

Try heating the engine with a hair dryer or heat gun. Sound like it is just too tight.

decided to take it apart and found a screw in it so i am happy cant what till tomrw and i am out
