Spektrum Help!!!
I was all happy to install the Sektrum system in my buggy, but sure enough it is glitching so bad I would be stupid to start up my buggy. I did cut the antenna to 3.6 inches and it runs out of my receiver box (I measured it from where it starts in the receiver). Any help on how to fix this glitching would be greatl appreciated. Thanks.

RE: Spektrum Help!!!
I'm pretty sure it bound fine, both green lights stopped flashing and stay lit. When I play with the throttle/steering the green light on the receiver goes out every so often and then no inputs will cause the servos to move. When the servos do move they are often erratic. Thanks in advamce for all your help guys.

PS- I do have a venom Smartemp/failsafe installed but I don't know if this or maybe the wires piled in with my receiver are the problem.

Take the failsafe out. No reason to have that on there with the Spektrum system. It has a failsafe built in. Wires piled up in the receiver box won't matter.

All I can say is I am amazed with mine!! When I used to do small tweaks with the radio on mine would glitch if I rubbed an allen key accross a screw or sumthing. But now I can run the allen key on anything and ZERO glitching (sofar). I am super pleased with mine.
ps I have a ton of wires in my receiver box too and its all good! Lose the failsafe and go from there.

Yeah, I might pull the failsafe out. The reason I mainly have it in there though is to watch my engine temps. I guess I can go out and by a handheld one though.

RE: Spektrum Help!!!
Did you guys cut the antenna measuring from inside the receiver? I cut mine 3.6 inches from the circuit board itself. I am sure this difference would be negligeble but just wanted to mention. I will pull the smarttemp out of there tomorrow and try it out. If it works, great and I willl go buy a handheld temp gun, and if not off to Horizon Hobby I will ship my Spektrum system to get a new full length antenna put on. Thanks for the help guys

RE: Spektrum Help!!!
When I have problem with the receiver wire like the insullation are cut, I change the wire with the exact length from the receiver comp board. I do Citizen band radio before, and cutting the whip antenna, got to do it with right measurement too, if not your frequency wave will be short(wave band).
About the glitch, check to see if you have a metal to metal parts that rubs together like your tune pipe and manifold. Does your car glitch when the engine running? How about the clutch spring.
